Heading into unknown territory

I need to find a psychologist for my daughter. I know she's been dealing with depression since she came home from school in early May.  And not just the I feel out of sorts, blah type of depression.  No, this is the type of depression where she will break into tears for no apparent reason.  A simple conversation with her and the tears will start.

I've had such horrible luck finding a decent general doctor I'm mortified at trying to help her find a psychologist.
